Good Morning and Happy Monday!
So today was going to be day one of waking up when my alarm goes off without hitting snooze. This is something over the past month, I’ve thought about and wanted to try. You always hear how you just make yourself more tired you are when you’re a snoozer, so I wanted to try to break the habit. Holy smokes, this is harder than I thought! I made it two days in a row waking up right at 5:30 when the alarm went off and haven’t since.
However, I am bound and determined to make it a habit to get up right when my alarm goes off! I believe that waking up and being productive is the best way to start the day. Sleeping in and waiting till the last minute to get up and rushing out the door causes stress. Granted, I don’t do that, I usually have everything ready and prepared for the day before going to bed. I do believe having more time to wake up, enjoy my coffee and have time to journal or meditate or read something would be even more beneficial.
I will keep you updated on how this is going and if anything I find working for myself I will be sure to share.
