Girls Weekend Takes Chicago (Part 1)

I love Chicago so much, I brought my friends and have to have two posts to tell you about it. The second post may or may not be food related. šŸ˜‰

My Grandparents were both originally from Chicago, so I have grown up visiting the city as many of my extended family members live there or close by. So you can imagine was pretty excited to be able to show my friends around and also make new memories!

So what’s the first adventure girl’s go on to kick a Chicago weekend off?

A Cubs Game…obvi.

Was really surprised to have this belated (very special) Birthday message!

The next day we were real tourists (not gonna be the last time) and walked the river walk up to The Bean. Seriously, I can not get enough of the river views.

What’s warm weather in the city without soaking up some rooftop views? The London House did not disappoint with their city views! The atmosphere was pretty fab here as well, however the service did not match with the pricey beverages. Great place for a drink or two in the evening.

Touristy Stop Number 2 of the trip (or maybe number 3 if the Lincoln Park Zoo counts)…

The Sky Deck at the Willis Tower.

And Because you can take the girl out of Boston, but not Boston out of the girl… a stop at Tripoli Tap to watch the Pats game. šŸ™‚
