I just wanted to hop on and wish you all a very Happy Easter! I hope that even though Easter was different for all of us this year, that you have been able to enjoy it and reflect on the day’s meaning!
Although bummed that I (like most all of us) wasn’t able to spend the day with my family, I did enjoy the day. Easter brings so much hope and light in my opinion and this year I think the world needs that. I always like to try to get outside on Easter, being amongst the nature is my favorite way to celebrate God’s work. I got up early and went out on the trails, and found the most beautiful waterfall! I paused my book I was listening to and just listened to the magic of the falls for a few minutes. It was a great way to begin the day.
I wanted to share words from Queen Elizabeth, she gave an Easter address this morning and I just couldn’t help but agree with every word.
Easter isn’t cancelled; indeed, we need Easter as much as ever.
As dark as death can be — particularly for those suffering with grief — light and life are greater. May the living flame of the Easter hope be a steady guide as we face the future.
“Light and life are greater!” What a wonderful reminder that no matter how dark or how sad, stressful things get…nothing is greater than the light, love, and the beauty of each of our lives.
