Happy Monday!! I skipped the coffee chat this morning for some much needed extra sleep! I was working from home today so I decided it would be a good chance to catch up on some rest, hence the late post. I tried to get some photos to share with you from my Christmas week. Enjoy!
It’s been such a great week, Christmas this year was absolutely wonderful. I had such a great time celebrating with my mom, sister and her family on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning, my mom and I exchanged gifts and then we headed to my aunt’s house for our extended family Christmas extravaganza. It was an absolute blast, my family never fails at laughing our behinds off and sitting around telling stories. I could have lived in Christmas night forever 🙂
I also wanted to share a cool little thing (well I think it’s cool haha)! I am a huge fan of a online store called The Shop Forward & Shop Espwa. Both have everything from sweatshirts to their popular 4 things bags to journals. The best part is the money goes to several different important causes. I encourage you to take a look at their site!
Here comes the cool part!! I have several different shirts and bags from them. I recently bought myself the “cool aunt” pullover…I mean a cool aunt needs a cool aunt sweater, am I right?!?! I wore it on a weekend away and posted a photo of myself and my youngest nephew. I was so honored that both shops posted the photo on their Instagram pages as well. My 15 minutes of Instagram fame, yaaaaa’llll. It really did feel like such an honor though because I love supporting them and LOVE what they do. These re-posts were meaningful!
Another thing I was excited about this season, was hosting a drive to gather goodies for care packages. The packages go to deployed soldiers, first responders, troops here at home and veterans. I was thrilled with all we got! I followed guidelines from Operation Gratitude, if you ever wish to host your own drive!
