St. Patrick’s day may still be a week and a half away but I am already seeing green!!
When I say I’m seeing green, I mean in my cup and my savings account! Today is day 6 of mindful march and 6 days into working my way towards my mini goals. Today I wanted to share that green juice recipe I’ve been following, you know that one I said was fit for a Duchess!! Well I say that cause it actually is a green juice recipe that was publicly known to be a favorite of Meghan Markle, aka the Duchess Of Sussex. If you know me, I’ve been a Meghan fan since the moment Rachel Zane stepped on to my TV screen. Side note: I wanted to completely change career paths and become a paralegal because of her haha. Anywho, if Meghan Markle swears by something, I will be willing to give it a try, even if it includes blending kale and celery into my drink daily.
The ingredients were originally shared on Meghan’s old blog “The Tig” I however did not use the recommended amount of each ingredient but I did put it in parenthesis next to it. This recipe is very customize-able.
What you need:
(2) Cucumbers
(8) Celery stalks
(4) Apples
(16) Kale leaves
(1) Lemon
(2 inch piece) of ginger (I used fresh flakes)
Blend all ingredients and poof…green juice 🙂
How I’m seeing the actual green. I’ve been using the savings app Qapital and I am loving it. You can set your own rules so that money is automatically taken out of your account or you can make manual transfers. I use the round up rule, meaning if I spend 10.50, the app rounds it up to 11 and will take the 50 cents out of the account you have it linked to and place it in the savings account. This is my favorite! I also just manually transfer and have a weekly transfer set up. You can create different goals as well and have your money go towards the certain ones you set up!
