We all know Saturday was Cinco De Mayo, Cinco De Derby, Derby Day and the 5th of May. Whatever you celebrated, I think most of us may have had a good time.
A couple girlfriends and myself decided to take full advantage of perfect weather and celebrated Cinco De Wineo. I wanted to share some pictures and a super easy sandwich recipe to feed a little crowd. If you are ever in the Boston area, check out Nashoba Valley Winery. It never disappoints!
When we adventure out to the winery, I love bringing a cheese platter and light lunch. This time I threw together my own version of an Italian sub.
- Ciabatta Bread
- Arugula
- Pepperoni
- Genoa Salami
- Ham
- 1 TBSP Italian seasoning (dry)
- 8 oz Fat free cream cheese
- 1 TBSP Lite Italian dressing
Mix Italian seasoning, cream cheese and Italian dressing in small bowl. Spread the mix onto one half of you sliced ciabatta bread. I didn’t put a specific amount of meats or arugula because I want to leave that up to whatever your heart desires on how much you want on your sammy. And presto…dunzo!
Feel free to add hots to make this a spicy version. 🙂
