I hope each and every single one of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I wanted to share a little bit of my holiday with you as even though life’s tough, there is always so much to be thankful for.
Thanksgiving started off normal, but moments before the turkey was supposed to be done, the house started smelling like gas {badly}. We had to call the gas company’s emergency service and were told to get out of the house. Luckily it was not a gas leak, however the brand new stove was pumping out huge amounts of carbon monoxide. So I was thankful that this little incident happened the way it did! And now I can not help but laugh at my sheer panic that set in.
Other than that Thanksgiving was memorable and wonderful! I wouldn’t have asked to spend the way any other way! It was also a special day for my sister, as she asked my uncles to dance with her at her wedding during what normally would be the father-daughter dance.
Our Dad passed away from cancer 5 years ago in January and it’s been very tough. My sister understandably has been having a hard time with wedding planning when we all want so much for him to be here for not only her wedding but every moment. When she asked our Uncles, it was such a meaningful few moments, I just had to share.
I have also included some fab music and photos brought to you by very own wonderful family. {the music, not so wonderful…just a fair warning}
This picture and video give a little glimpse of the family chaos I love.
As we all know, as soon as Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is in the air. I brought my nephews to the annual Christmas parade for the first time. It was a total success!
What a wonderful family and friend filled weekend. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Now time to relax! {well until I share my Cyber Monday Faves}
