Traveldaze: This is Sparta

Sparta, Tennessee that is.

As I was pinterest-ing all things Nashville, I stumbled across several pins about Tennessee waterfalls. The wannabe adventurer in me had to go see at least one of them.

I settled on Burgess Falls In Sparta, Tennessee and when my friend Brit and I landed In Nashville, we started out on the 70 mile or so trek out to see what Tennessee wonders we could find at the Burgess Falls State Natural Area.

I wanted to share some of the photos I took while hiking the main trail.

The first waterfall  you see is the gem pictured above, as you get out of your car in the parking lot you can hear these falls! 🙂

Just a fun old bridge, crossing the water. Happy that there’s no need to cross that baby.

I don’t know where my fear of heights suddenly vanished to, but this was too cool to not get as close as possible.

^^me feeling very Tennessee vibey in my favorite beanie by Tribe Kelley.

The rocks in this park were very cool, this one covered the walking path.

Afternoon down. A night out and 3 more days to go. This Tennessee traveldaze may last a while. 😉
